Susan D. Wagner is a high-powered, award-winning public relations consultant and communications professional who never takes no for an answer. She is recognized nationally for her unrivaled promotional achievements.

For the past two decades, Susan has served clients in a broad range of industries including media, financial services, manufacturing, communications, higher education, healthcare, arts and entertainment, creative services, retail, hospitality, civic projects and others.

She brings extensive experience in event promotion, “guerilla”, word of mouth, viral and internet marketing, collateral, advertising, best in the industry media campaigns and product launches and writing services to clients such as the University of Massachusetts, Rehabilitation Hospital of the Cape and Islands, Lifespan, Hasbro Children’s Hospital, ACAF Systems, Inc., Chubby Checker Snacks and so many more. Her client base is diverse, but they all recognize the importance of developing clear messages and high-impact communications strategies.

Susan also understands business from the ground up. She is the founder of several agencies and a non-profit radio reading service. Susan has served as Events Promotion Manager for Children’s Hospital Boston, Director of Publicity for Chubby Checker Entertainment and Public Relations Manager for the Walk to Cure Cancer for the UMass Medical School and consultant for the The Walk for Hasbro Children’s Hospital. Susan sits on the boards of Ivy Child International, The National Breast Cancer Prevention Project and Songbird Sings. She also a stockholder and board member of an exciting eprocurement business called SafeSourcing.

Fully familiar with the challenges of evolving communities, she has sat on numerous civic planning and development commissions for the City of Providence, the City of Worcester, and the Towns of Sandwich MA and Lauderdale by the Sea.

Susan has also been on the other side of the fence as contributing editor and feature writer for several publications including East Side Monthly, Providence Women, Cape Cod Magazine, Sarasota Magazine, Worcester Magazine and has had numerous articles placed in national publications including Country Living, Ad Week, Cosmopolitan, People, Newsweek etc.

She was awarded the Roger Perry Award from the Public Relations Society for the year’s top public relations program as well as three Public Awareness Awards by the International Association of Radio Reading Services. She was named to Who’s Who in American Women and Who’s Who.
